That being said, there's a significant amount of dialogue available and relationship building (non-romantic, typically lust driven) with those other girls throughout Seasons 1 & 2. There's nothing to say that they can't be options in Season 3
The player can choose who MC gets close too, MG or not, however the MGs are no matter what an important story part who will always interact with him and be friends and they are the constant in pushing the story forward. Most of the SGs can be missable if you do not actively pursue them.
@Golos3611 Hmm i did not had the others path available at the end of S2....weird. I had 3 choices only.
The 'Others' route is easier to do via the D** route, no doubt.
There *ARE* Main Girl(s)'s (MG) you can chose on that route. So it's not a choice of "D** == Others only". Going for the Chick route gives you essentially "the MG route", where you then have to chose for which MG option you're going for.
By that logic why bother with having any mains ? by making sides into mains it would add more options to the overall story (in a more meaningful way) and give us more interactions with them
