why do all the avatars look feminine?

from the hair to the mouth options, they all look too feminine. every time i try to make a male avatar, it either looks too girlish or uncanny valley. and there is very little hair options for men in this game. actually, most of the avatars are just...uncanny valley.

I created one that looks pretty masculine. Have you tried giving them facial hair and altering their face shape? That helps a lot.

They seemed to have programmed it so upper lips are not allowed to have facial hair. Best you can get is a eyebrow pencil line.

You realize MOST men across the world throughout most of human history had long hair, right? Like this thing of cropped male haircuts has only really been a thing among the Romans, the Greeks, the Normans, and golden age Americans. Pretty much everyone else had shoulder-length or longer hair as the norm until the 20th century.
