Report a translation problem
Even on the 'fastest' graphics setting, and windowed mode, attempting to render anything on the map results in a fps drop to single digits and considerable slowdown outside of the game.
But maybe I searched a BUG. I instal the game and run it, and the application has opened but I still can't play the game. But the application is running so I receive the cards of humankind because for steam I play the game all the time that application is active. For now I "played" the game for 5 hours and received 4 cards.
For exit the application I must relaunch steam.
It 'might' work if you play via Rosetta
The problem was that initially the game launched as ARM64 that was wrote in bug report. Now i install in options of application to launch via Rosetta and it's okay)
A disaster. So low and unplayable. I've deleted the beta and will go back to CIV6. A total shame AMPLITUDE big *hit !!!!
If you want to provide bugs/feedback ensure you follow the bug reporting process. The developers need
* system requirements
* save games if relevant
* player.log
* diagnostics.html
You can find most of these in ~/library/application support/Humankind
Without these the developers cannot address issues

Your system requirements? What do you mean? Our system requirements? Do you want a dxdiag?
I couldn't locate this file at first. I actually went deep into my system to dig
it's in %appdata%/locallow/apltitude studios/humankind
I've found this in D:\Programme\Steam\steamapps\common\Humankind\Public\Documents
Is this the right one? because it was last modified in August. It can't be relevant to my current problems.
Where is that? It's neither in my documents, nor appdata, nor the install folder. I think this is not good information.
PLEASE work on your bug submission process. I've now had to abandon the third game because of the blank war resolution screen.
I'm a trained IT professional, that's why I can even find the files you're talking about. You're giving no directions, 90% of the users here don't even know what %appdata% is. If you don't provide better directions on how to even get you the files you need, you're not getting many bug reports.
Anyways, here's my latest blank war resolution screen terminating my game

This thread is about the beta for Mac OS. From your post it seems like you’re using Windows. Therefore the path to the files is different on your System than what got posted. But since you’re on Windows you should switch to the correct thread and post there.
Well he's not providing the correct paths in the other thread either.
I actually asked there where the player.log was to be found and he didn't respond anymore. (but 5 more posts to other people)
I have tested it on M1 with Rosetta enabled and it works pretty well for the first 90 turns.
Only problem: during combat preparation, the textures of the hexagon fields are blackened, making it hard to place your troops.
Performance is ok for me: on 1650x1080 with quality set to "Good" I get 20-30 fps.
So, thumbs up!
