Recalculate existing contracts for adaptation to track layout changes
I have successfully modified my track to a more efficient network, that runs through slightly different intermediary stations than before. Now the problem is, that I have to get new contracts for all of these, because the stations are locked in.

I see that in the Editor, you already have the feature to recalculate the schedule. Please make that available for individual contracts in the game as well. Setting up all the platforms and times again is not a problem. When you change your track layout, the timings change anyway.

But waiting an hour or more real-time for these 40 contracts is a real pain. And if you mess up your regional trains, some commuters and freights as well, you will sit for hours to get the contracts for your network back.

Here's an idea: Make it an upgrade! It can be the most expensive red upgrade if you want. It would motivate me to get that upgrade in the endgame, to be able to change some tracks that I wanted to forever.

I've also posted this to your suggestion website, since when I've learned that it is the way.

Look here and vote if you also think that it is beneficial to the game: https://suggest.bitrich.info/posts/787/recalculate-existing-contracts-for-adaptation-to-track-layout-changes

We are working on an upgrade for Red Tier 3 that will allow you to build the Scheduler Office.

In the Scheduler Office, you will be able to create any custom contract & then accept it as many times as you wish.

We create it as a support tool for an undisclosed DLC comming soon, but we are playing with the idea it will be free contribution to the vanilla game as well.

Oh, that sounds great and ominous. Of course there's not more details about the DLC, but having that feature as a support for that DLC suggests, that we will get a lot more late-game content in that DLC, which sounds great :)

I think I am having all these suggestions, because I am playing very large maps too. I am in late-game with a really large network, trying to make it as optimized as possible, so that I can connect more of those 144 stations to the network. I think it's a good test for the maximum abilities of the game.
