I don't know if automated dispatching has been fixed yet, but it used to only dispatch trains facing forwards... I remember there were plans to make it so the automation remembered if it was dispatched backwards, though. I just don't know if that's been done yet or not.
Yknow, I should've checked the patch notes. It's working as of 1.0.5. Just tested it.
Contract offer IC from Ruheleben to Berlin and then back to Gesundbrunnen. Forward the Train is fast, but when driving back from Berlin to Gesundbrunnen via Charlottenburg, the Train gets always delayed since it drives with 30km/h due to Locomotive is at the Back.
Any Hints or plans on solving this? Right now, accepting IC Trains looses me money instead of gaining, because of this issue
I mean, why not just have an upgrade to have all trains with 2 control units.... i would get it immediately every time. Or add "extra control unit" as a step in setting up the route.
Exactly. In the UK we don't have just one loco anymore [for a long time too]. I never had to do the runaround shunt when I was a train driver [lucky! lol] It's either with a DVT or a train with driving controls at either end [EMU's].
Edit: But as the dev said, it does add variety and I'd like to do the shunting too.
