Buying Curse of the Dead Gods and expecting Diablo/PoE/Wolcen/Torchlight is a bad investment.
if you have handy injury you can still use a controller it works well
In this game though (which is not a diablo-like), I think WASD is the right choice and after about 30 mins it is super fluid and I would not want a click -to-move in it.
As the game progresses you need that split second movement that WASD offers you here and can keep up good momentum to turn the fight in your favour.
I do not get the hate towards a certain control scheme, making it a instant "no buy". But each for their own.
But mouse movement in action packed games that require precision is redundant and should be eradicated at once.
In Diablo - sure, you can take a couple of hits every now and then. It's still sloppy as hell tho. This is in no way diablo, not an arpg. It's a skill-based rogue-lite action game with a couple of small RPG elements in it. Nuff said.
Everyone who thinks WASD is bad for this game probably don't understand what it is supposed to be.
you use ranged weps from time to time, and you aim with twin sticks, my dude.
that makes it, get ready for this : A twin Stick :
whether or not youre firing a gun is incidental to the genre name.
you move with L stick, and aim with R stick.
that makes it twin stick.
