Age restriction?
I see game has no PEGI rating. Could some of people who played it, describe what's the most scary/dark part? Game seems colorful and fun, I'm thinking of buying it and playing with my 5-year old son, but not sure if nothing scary will be there.

The boss fights can be look scary, but they do have in the settings to skip boss fights on the pause screen, you can enable it through the options, its the only scary part I know of. Other than spooky trees start to spawn on the map, but other than that a colorful game.

The boss fights have some fairly intense animations, but as mentioned, there's an option to skip them. Check out this speedrun if you want to see what they're like; he skips all the dialogue so there's no spoilers, and the first boss starts at about 1:30: https://youtu.be/9v59tRyt_7E?t=89

Aside from that, it's a very colorful, chill game, and a 5-year old would probably love just messing around and coloring on stuff. The textual story addresses some serious topics (anxiety, depression, impostor syndrome), but he's probably too young for him to really understand any of that.

Some boss fights look unsettling, but no graphic violence is present. The game touches on deep topics like depression and self loathing, but these are almost all by dialogue. You can also choose to skip cutscenes. From my experience I would rate it as PEGI 7, but again more frightening parts can be skipped.
