Ryza supports 4k. The launcher won't display 4k unless you have desktop set to it.

I'm certain. Ryza is using same type of launcher as Atelier Lydia and Suelle.

OP, all the Atelier ports are like this.
The worst of them are Rorona and Meruru, as they actually dont have support for resolutions higher than 1080p.
It's not great, but it's the best version of the game. If you play with controller, this is the best version you could get.

Speaking of resolution, assuming this isnt screwed up like those, the resolution options will likely be whatever your graphics card settings are set to allow. You dont need your desktop set to whatever resolution to use them. I played Sophie at 4k with my desktop at 1080p

Maybe i'm dumb but isnt most common resolution is 1080 anyway? like i have 21 size monitor and pretty sure it don't support anything higher. So whats with the need of 2k and 4k? Its like size of whole wall monitor or what? and like those 4k should require non even gaming pcs but some monster specs with 2 graphics cards, no? Not even counting that if you want to grab gaming monitor with 4k it's gonna cost like... cosmic amount of money.,

I only have a 1080p monitor so I don't give a sh*t about other people with 1440p, 2160p or other resolutions/aspect ratios. Basically that's how you argue. And you don't need 2 graphics cards for 4K, especially not for Atelier Ryza

I don't understand the hubbub about all PC ports needing to be fully customizable. Controllers are commonplace now because certain types of games are not meant for keyboard and mouse, no matter how good the key layout is. I can at least see an issue with limited resolution options, but once all the graphics manufacturers sign onto integer-ratio scaling and image sharpening, the problems with 2K & 4K monitor blurriness should be a thing of the past.

Alot of people are just fine with not needing to give sony money

Well i have msi optix mag241c monitor and 2070 super graphics card. Im not sure if it can work with 4k and i dont really see the need for it. It's most of the time just "i have a lot of money why game don't support this 4k". I may be wrong about this though. I remember playing Senran Kagura game with 4k textures resized to 1080 i think and it was much better than native ones.

とはいえ、日本の開発者で最適化作業を行うのは稀です。
4K60fpsの環境を維持するには2080Tiが最低でも必要です。
1080Tiでは4K60fpsは厳しいかも知れないです。
アニメスタイルのJRPGは解像度を上げる恩恵に乏しいのですが、アトリエは景色が奇麗なので例外であるといえます。
4Kのディスプレイで低い解像度にすると映像が汚くなるから、というのが4Kでプレイする理由なんですけどね。
4Kディスプレイを買ってしまうと最低でも2080TiかTitan RTXのどちらかを追加で購入することになるので皆さんも気を付けてください。
2080s以下はゴミです。

2080Ti is required at least to maintain 4K60fps environment.
With 1080Ti, 4K60fps may be tough.
The anime-style JRPG does not benefit from increasing the resolution, but the atelier is an exception because of the beautiful scenery.
The reason for playing at 4K is that if you use a low resolution on a 4K display, the video will become dirty.
If you buy a 4K display, you will need to purchase at least 2080Ti or Titan RTX.
2080s or less is garbage.

All those "menu lags" is a bug related to Nvidia. You can fix all those bugs in Nvidia Control Panel (right click on desktop) and all actions in the games will occur instantly, it's a well known bug with some specific Nvidia Settings. I never had any of those bugs/lags while jumping, opening/closing menus etc after changing Nvidia settings.
No idea if the same happens with AMD cards.

What do I need to do to change it?
