I want English Language added
I HATE that KOEI Techmo are too greedy to add a English language option. If you want to hear Japanese then you should be able to set it to that in the menu and enjoy. I hate that their language is being rammed down my ears, and they don't bother with actually making the game properly. And don't give me the BS about a voice actor union. Or it being too expensive. They could have Japanese actors do the lines in English. The Truth is KOEI Techmo are greedy America hating goblins who do as little as possible.

That is, with the rise in price of seafood, making a sushi without a filling will become a good business decision?

Are you going to pay for it? It's a buisiness decision. A pretty common one in japanese localized games. The American audience isn't big enough for all games to warrant them spending the money. The simple fact is that they will spend money to do it and it won't bring in enough more profit to make up that difference. You will see this in lots of games. The truth is, you're luck there's even a localization because there needs to be a large enough customer base to justify even that. There's games like Trails of Azure that have just been forgotten because they don't think they will make money by translating it.

More than money and it being a niche series, it's time and work for that as well. The beautiful thing about it though is nobody owes you anything -- and myself and everyone basks in your frustration because you're probably someone who ironically screams "no free handouts!". Btw, you smell bad.

Beat me to it.

Atelier games have always sold about 150k units. This is the first one to sell so many so quickly. But even then analysts project it will hit about 500k units. Fantastic for Atelier, but far from what that poster must be thinking.

Also, no point in a poor or incomplete English dub. I'm allergic to cringe.

Ignoring the fact that would sound terrible, you do realise that Japanese voice actors are some of the most expensive on the planet right? Do you want to pay 90 to 100 USD for the base game? Because that's what you'd get charged. And no. This is not an AAA game. Not even here in Japan. It's a niche game, that just happened to prove more successful than usual thanks to Ryza's character design.

If they actually have the Japanese VAs do the English dub, it's gonna be so bad that it's so great for laughing materials.

But people who actually wanna use the Eng dub, they're gonna hate it.

Hmm let me see they release it on all major platforms and charge $60 to $80 for it. Yea it's a premium AAA title chief.

Except what defines if a game is AAA is the budget not the cost of the final product, Chief.

If the game was compared to a sushi I would compare dubs/eng. voices to a wasabi.
Not everyone likes wasabi, the sushi itself suffices the needs of the majority.
