How were the ports of recent Atelier/Gust games? I shall pray for a good port.
Been meaning to get into these games and always hear mixed things on them. Hope this one is more stable and comparable to the PS4 version.

pft get the PS4... as I stick if Multi-plat get PS4 arguably the experience will be better there unless K-T pulls a NISA and inevitably break the game on all ports unless you want to be a cheaty bastard get the PC

I have no issue with these games. Not sure why some people complain about the ports. Maybe they're on XX50 GPU or something. Those are low budget cards.

only firis have horrible optimize, rest is pretty good

but they cut-off many graphics setting, Lulua only have resolution setting and window/full screen lol

At 2080Ti 4K Maximum setting, Atelier Lulua was 80fps or more, so it seems that it can run as much as that.

Compared to the PC version, it looks dirty on PS4.
The console version seems to have significantly reduced texture resolution.
Isn't there the highest setting of the PC version in the console version?
Monterossa Sep 26, 2019 @ 7:40am
Yeah, the console versions are optimized to run smoothly at a low level setting. If you want good performances with terrible quality then it's ok. But I'm not gonna do that. I'd rather play games at their fullest potentials.

Atelier Sophie worked like a charm. Not a single issue.
I haven't tried the others yet.

I had no issues with sophie or firis, but lydie ran like complete ass (sub 30 fps at times). This is on a 9900k/1080ti @ 4k.

As for Atelier Lydie & Suelle, it will be a terrible lag when it rains.
60fps or more can be secured @ 4K (7700K / 2080Ti)

Will I be wanting to run these games at 4K?
Leondre Sep 27, 2019 @ 7:46am
You should be wanting to run them at whatever your native res is.

That is a difficult problem.
At the highest setting (Atelier Game Setting), 4K60fps can be maintained at 2080Ti.
I was able to maintain even the Power Limit 50%.
Leondre reports that 1080Ti is not enough.

At 4K resolution,
The processing capacity of 2080Ti is about 30% higher than 1080Ti.
The setting value of NVIDIA Control panel is also important.
Depending on the value, it may be possible to maintain 60fps even at 1080Ti.

Sophie's port was pretty rough at launch but KT did patch it up eventually.

Firis is a performance mess on all platforms.

Outside of those two the ports aren't fancy or super optimized but definitely playable.
