No English dub!!
Yes, buy!

I think Ryza will sell a lot with or without English dub anyway. And it's the third game without dub, the fans kinda get used to not having it.

Less choice in dubs is not really something to celebrate imo...I may not be affected but i know some people who will still be dissapointed.. And english dubs have been getting better and better in recent years.

Not a problem for me
Since i always play with Japan Dub
But since The previous artelier game doesnt come with eng dub
No surprise

I knew it would eventually come to this, since the number of English voiced lines started becoming fewer with each new game until they just said screw it and went without. Very sad.

Dubs typically mean nothing to the sort of niche audience these games cater to in the West, would be a waste of their resources.

I totally agree with Monterossa.
Nice thread!

The game looks really good so I think people should give it a chance instead of boycotting it for trivial thing like the lack of Eng dub.

Koei Tecmo didn't give some people a chance to give the game a chance.

Exactly, they cannot refuse the best Atelier game ever made.
Technically it is on par with Bandai Namco games, and I'll tell you more, this new Atelier seems even more interesting than Tales of Arise.

It's a shame that their is no English dub, less options is never a good thing, but unfortunately it probably would have increased the required budget and delayed the release date outside of Japan.

The game will be localized faster, doesn't that make it a good thing for having less options?

English dub as paid DLC should be the solution for who can't read subtitles, 6 months after the original release.
Ask Koei Tecmo for this.

I agree. I hope you will join me in campaigning for future games to get the Esperanto dub they rightfully deserve.
no English dub will buy
English dub = no buy

now let me sit back and enjoy the salt

Not having English audios also save storage spaces for many people.

The Arland DX pack for the example, it's digital only in the west, and those who bought it on Switch have to deal with storage problem, because it comes with English dubs.

They should at least let people choose which audio they want to download or not.

I think it's difficult to express Shota Voice in English.
Tao's voice is the voice of Atelier Sophie's Cornelia.
That person is Atelier Lulua who is also responsible for the voice of Massina of God.

Atelier Sophie includes both Japanese and English character voices.
I think it's simply a matter of voice actors' technical capabilities.
