No but seriously, pretty much all Spiderweb Software games. Avadon , Avadon 2 and Avernum Escape from the pit all uses the same engine and works pretty much the same. And they are all good games.
I have been checking out Aarklash Legacy too, seems to be a mix of the old partybased rpg and a bit of Dragon Age.
But that is from the same developer.
But as Nightboard said, Eschalon is an isometric rpg in an old-school vein.
( But you shouldn't disregard the other Spiderweb games, they are all great. So as Studmuffin said - Escape from the pit is great. )
Great to know there are other Avadon-fans out there,
EDIT: Check out a game called "Incubation". The devs did something amazing at some point... they said since it was SOOooo long since the game had come out it was perfectly legal to download and play for free. Note that I'm talking about the original being good not the "wilderness missions". If you liked XCOM: EU/EW you'll LOVE this game.
Except for the 2 starter guns, weapons aren't better than others, they just have different uses/features. Only bad thing with the free downloaded copy is the intro movie has no sound. And 1 other time your superior lady talks to you. But you're not missing anything really. Other than that all mission briefings are fully voiced and everything works/sounds great.
