It it possible to turn off predators?
I would rather play without bears and wolves, honestly. To me, they're not part of ranch life and having to worry that a bear is going to sneak up on my while I'm at the hardware store is unnerving. I've been attacked by wolves while getting gas, etc. I don't think there is a way to turn them off (or make them run if they're near you) but I thought I'd ask.

I think that's what gives the game an emotion when you go out of the ranch as in reality it thinks it's a simulator and that's how it has to be for me this perfect

At the end of the day, it's what you enjoy and I'm not suggesting they take it away for everyone, just give the option. I got jumped by a bear IN the hardware store. I guess it saw me when I was loading the truck and when I went back in, it actually came into the store and attacked me at the kiosk. By the time I realized what was happening, got my gun out, and started firing....I was dead.

If I'm out, wandering the woods, then yeah, that makes sense, but I shouldn't have to keep checking behind me when I'm buying goods lol.

I tend to agree. My issue is I don't like taking down a tree, or an animal, unless I'm going to transport the goods back to my ranch. Sometimes I have a full load on whatever vehicle I'm driving and I have no space for the meat or logs. A bear or wolf attacks and now you have no choice. Yes I can always go back to get the items, which I do, but it would still be convenient to be able to turn off predators if you wish.

I got the crap scared out of me today. I was back at the hardware store, was loading metal onto my truck, all of a sudden the whole damn thing jumped and two deer ran right through me and into the store! To me, that is ridiculous. I should be able to shop in peace lol! At least, for the short term, move the animal spawns away from stores.

I totally agree. you can't say it's realistic to have a bear attack you in a store ... I don't think I have ever seen one in Kmart. Where i live we don't have wolves coming into our garage and attacking us either ... but in game on day 1 of a play through a wolf came into the little blue and white shed/garage you start with ... where the started truck is ... and killed me. I hadn't even managed to buy bullets and I hadn't yet reloaded my gun with the 6 you start with. But my main reason for wanting the option to turn off predators is I am trying to make a pacifist play through ... eggs, honey, crops milk and cheese. No killing. I think the word is out for the wildlife though ... they are all hurling themselves in front of me waiting for a lead injection.
