Maybe you are missing the bios that must be placed on system directory.

Is that a specific thing saturn needs? Cause my other roms work just fine.

I'm also a bit lost on trying to get a Saturn game to work. I have bin/cue and chd and nothing's working. Got bios for Retroarch put into the system folder as a video said to do and still failure to load so I'm just extremely confused and stumped on the topic

Okay I figured it out, I had to have the .bin files of the bios placed into the system file. Everything worked after that!

What's the game you can't run? And what emu are you using?

That's weird last time I played it it worked fine, same with Utena's game.

Maybe your iso was corrupted? Mine is chd and no issues. Btw I'm using beetle saturn.
Oh I've launched RA after some time and I notice my shaders give errors with a black screen so I disabled them and now the game loads fine again.

As a conclusion if bios are there then the iso is corrupted probably.

It's the correct region bios for the game in the system folder, right?

My game is undubbed.
And again did you place the bios in the right folder?

It's important to have the bios files in the systems folder the the bios files in their own region subfolder in the system folder. If you have folders in your system folder, just dump all the sub folders into the system folder where it's just the bios files alone.
