Does anyone know how to fix texture issues on the PS2 emulator on RetroArch?

Wondering if there is a way to fix the texture issues, as it makes games basically unplayable, maybe a setting I'm missing or something?

Pcsx2 you have to download it online and you can put it into RetroArch, but it’s quite buggy and I wouldn’t recommend, I was hoping there was a fix for it but I don’t think there is at the minute

Be sure to install cheats and resources folders in RetroArch\system\PCSX2\ from: https://buildbot.libretro.com/assets/system/LRPS2.zip Hope it helps.

I've tried adding it to my pcsx2 folder and still the same issue, could it be pcsx2 core just being buggy on RetroArch, or is there a fix?

The core is based on an old nightly version so you need a machine able to run nightly versions. It is very buggy. Use DX11 video driver for best results.

This is why LRPS2 is still unsupported on Steam. be sure to shut down RetroArch after playing as the core does not shut down completely.

It's so annoying, but thanks for helping, do you have any idea when a LRPS2 core will be supported on steam or has nothing been said?
