3DS Citra Core Issues
I'm having a bit of a nightmare getting the Citra core to work. I have the standalone Citra emulator working fine, but the issues start through RetroArch on Steam. I've tried flicking through both the regular and 2018 one, the regular one just straight up crashes RetroArch whereas the 2018 one boots and says "FATAL ERROR ENCOUNTERED: MII DATA". I've put all the correct files in all the correct places, even the Mii data, followed dozens of guides and it isn't really working out for me. Is there any tips to fix this? I'd rather just have everything neatly put together. Thanks!

I did something easier than adding cores files and so on manually.
Copypasted the standalone RA over steam's and I got the updater then I got citra.
Try that, make a back up of your RA's folder just in case.

Mii Data goes in: //Retroarch/Saves/Citra/

I actually did this, copied all the files into the correct place based on the saves section, unless I did it wrong? I'll try the first reply and see what happens
