Switch Pro controller goes haywire
Has anyone been able to get the Switch Pro controller working with Retroarch while Steam Input is disabled? When I plug mine in via USB, for some reason it opens up the search field and throws all sorts of random inputs.

Sometimes, I can manage to back out of search and get to configuring the controller's inputs. Disabling autoconfig also makes this possible. However, when I choose to configure a button manually, it will send a bunch of inputs (randomized between buttons 0 - 7).

Another odd thing is that keyboard inputs don't work anymore while the controller is plugged in after I back out of the search menu.

Seems like it's the same problem as this user here:

Update: in case anyone else encounters this, I got the controller to work by running BetterJoy (with the HIDGuardian driver so that it plays nicely with Steam). RetroArch will see the Switch Pro controller as a 360 controller, so you'll have to change the mapping for it manually to get the face buttons line up. It seems to work decently this way. You may also have to open up the controller config file itself to add a line that maps the Xbox guide button to the home button on the Switch controller.
