Installing seperate cores with Linux?
I'm able to get the official DLC cores working, however when I try to install different cores into the cores folder manually they don't show up. (Example: dolphin_libretro.dll within cores folder does not appear when trying to launch 'load cores') Using Ubuntu-based OS. Pretty new to Linux, so not sure if I'm just doing something wrong. I can verify the cores i've tried adding are located in the cores folder in steamapps.

Were you trying to put cores (that are compiled for Windows) into the Linux version of RetroArch? If yes, well, I guess it's a common mistake.
".dll" files are made for Windows. ".so" files are what you need. You can grab the cores (compiled for Linux) from https://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/linux/x86_64/latest .

I suspected this was the reason, couldn't find a link to any .so files so thanks for sharing!
