Missing Text with PPSSPP core

i downloaded the ppsspp core from the main retroarch website and added it to the steam retroarch version but it doesnt seem to work with the monster hunter freedom unite iso i got as alot of the text is missing. .At first i though it was just a bad iso but i downloaded ppsspp from their main website and it works completely fine there.

You need download "assets" folder and put it into system folder in retroach, read the link

after a bit of moving things around and uninstalling and reinstalling i was able to get the text in the game thanks o/
on a side note i notice that the game looks better on the ppsspp program i got from the ppsspp main website compared to the retroarch ppsspp, is that because retroarch uses and older version of ppsspp???

You can configure the options, especially in "internal resolution". By default it is 480x272 (original psp resolution)
