Delete Playlist - It Keeps Coming Back
I brought over a custom playlist from the expanded version of RetroArch (not the Steam version) by placing it in my Steam RetroArch's playlist folder. When I try to delete it after having made changes, it keeps re-appearing without any games or anything in it. I was wondering what I need to do to keep it from appearing on the list. It keeps regenerating the .lpl file in my playlist folder.

Deleting any playlist from the folder makes it re-appear when I reload RetroArch, regardless of whether there is a game associated with it or not.
I fixed the issue by deleting the .lpl file, then running Steam as an administrator. Strange, but I got it! Will update if it causes any other issues.

I think this happens because of steam cloud saves. It probably saves the playlists too.

I can confirm this myself; I initially made a playlist of Quake for the Steam version of RetroArch, found out that TyrQuake refuses to work on the Steam version of RetroArch and just crashes the program when trying to load a *.pak from Quake (thought at this point I'll just stick to playing Quake via the remaster or the Mark V and QuakeSpasm source ports), tried to delete the playlist from File Explorer and it caused the Quake playlist to come back after booting RetroArch because of Steam Cloud. I found out that I had to delete the playlist file not from my folder via FIle Explorer but through RetroArch itself under Settings → Playlists → Manage Playlists → find the problematic playlist file and delete it from there so Steam Cloud would get the hint that I don't want this playlist file anymore.

TL;DR version: Playlists are saved on Steam Cloud and it appears deleting them through RetroArch is how to get rid any of them for good with the Steam version.
