RetroArch

Is there a core for ODYSSEY, the first console ever?
I've never played the Magnavox Odyssey from 1972 (older than I thought). I don't even know its game list, I'll research now. Is there a core on RetroArch? That would be very interesting.

No, there's no retroarch core. It doesn't have a CPU, RAM, game roms, etc. It was essentially an early (the original) Pong machine.

The O2Em core emulates the later Odyssey2 console AKA Philips Videopac G7000. An Atari 2600 competitor.

Emulators for the original Odyssey do exist outside RetroArch though...
