Now you see why it's hidden. DOSbox, Easy RPG (RPGMaker 2000/2003), and SCUMMVM as well are cores they have been made for this as well. Not sure which cores they'll be able to release, though.

They'll probably be able to release all cores licensed under GPL or more permissive. Some cores are licensed under restrictive licenses and will require consent from the developers to release on the Steam version.
