Error GetSystemTimePreciseAsFileTime
With the new update i get an missing GetSystemTimePreciseAsFileTime in kernel32.dll error when trying to launch Retroach.

Apparently Windows 7 compatibility is broken with the latest release (GetSystemTimePreciseAsFileTime is available only from Windows 8).

Seriously, THAT is the solution ? Suddenly changing the minium requirements in the store page like nothing is happened ?

Highly unprofessional, i must tell you.
The minimum requirements was updated to reflect that we cannot guarantee support for a platform Steam has dropped support for, it already had a footnote added by Valve stating the Steam client only support Windows 10 and newer.

I have looked into downgrading to fix Windows 7 compatibility with the Steam integration and it will likely run again on the nightly branch starting tomorrow. However note this is just a stop-gap measure and as Steam and dependencies drop support for Windows 7 more breakages are unavoidable.

Using this command in the Steam console :

download_depot 1118310 1118311 6101427862167549754

You can open the Steam console by launching Steam with the -console parameter or typing steam://open/console in a browser. It doesn't matter if Steam is running or not.

The depot is downloaded in the folder : Steam\steamapps\content\app_1118310
Thank you, it worked.
Windows 7 should work again on the nightly beta branch together with some other fixes. If someone can confirm it works again it will likely come out as a hotfix soon.

Just tested, seems to work fine.
An update fixing this should be on stable
