Cemu on retroarch?

I know cemu is not on retroarch, but cemu 2.0 open source. not asking for the newer stuff like Yuzu or RPCS3, but is there any chance at all that a WII U emulator will ever be on libretro?

AFAIK No plans so far. Don't quote me on this but I believe the emulator devs need to show interest to make it be included in RA and RA's team then needs to port and develop the core for the frontend.

On the other side I believe you can add it to steam as a non-steam game and/or use some emu manager or something too.

I was hoping to have a retroarch core so i can upload screenshot of games like bayonetta or BOTW, but i guess i'll just add it as a non-steam game.

Glad to help.
You can still upload SS with a non-steam game or software. It's just that won't appear on your feed. You have to go to the uploaded screenshot and share it. Your friends can also see it if they go to your SS section and you can even "decorate" your profile with that uploaded SS in one (or several) of your showcases.

Ahhh that's great to know. i thought they blocked it since sometimes it just refuses to upload.

Maybe steam was under maintenance or something. The client/app sometimes need to be restarted and that's it.
It worked last time and it still works. Have just tried with a non-steam game I included time ago and no issues. The ss manager pops up after you close the game/soft and you can upload it.
The ss manager says "this will be shared on your feed and your profile" however and unfortunatelly they actually removed the feed share. Nevertheless and as I've said it's still uploaded into your ss section. Go there share it and now it will be on your feed assuming that's what you want. It will be on your profile too unless you delete it.
