PPSSPP core and cheats?

So i noticed that when trying to use cheats the PPSSPP core is the only one that is empty, is there an reason for this? also, how do i bypass this and use cheats with psp games on this core?

i downloaded but for some reason i dont seen to be getting this to work, i am trying to add manually the codes, and a INI file was created when i applied, but for some reason it dont work, quite confusing
