how do I turn on black frame insertion?
does anyone know where the black frame insertion option in retroarch is? I see videos online of it being in the video section of the settings, but it's not there.

Maybe because Steam's RA is a limited version of standalone RA.
Try replacing standalone over steam's and tell me if you see the option.
