RetroArch

RetroArch

Does not recognize the PS2 core.
I put the pcsx2/LRPS2 into Retroarch's download folder, when i try to scan it manually to add the core, it scans it and.... accomplishes nothing.

Looking through the files, it just keeps saying empty. Like there are no files at all, only the empty folders show up. There are defintiely files there tho when looking into the folder directly outside retroarch. I tried adding the bios & other folders/files manually into Retroarch's system folder, doesn't do anything either. I have no idea what else to do. Any tutorial i find, the files are just there and scanable and working, boom, the ps2 core is added.

Place the core in the "Cores" folder and it will recognize it. The info file is also needed for the core to work. Download it with the link below and place it in the "Info" folder or "Cores" folder if you're on Steam Deck.

Stay with standalone pcsx2 instead. This core is buggy and outdated.
