Speedlink Competition Pro Controller - How to get it work in RetroArch on MacOS
Just want to share how i got my Speedlink Competition Pro Controller working in RetroArch on MacOS which unfortunately for me was not plug and play.

1. Make sure your Controller is plugged in, then start RetroArch.
If you get an error popup like me that your Speedlink Controller is not configured you might having a similar issue. Note down the exact name of the controller from the popup. For me the exact name of the controller as detected by RetroArch was:
Game Controller for Android

Now i suggest you try to configure the controller first before moving on.
For me that did not work as RetroArch seem to not see any input from the controller.
Here is what i needed to do:

2. Make sure your driver sits on hid not mfi Settings> Drivers> Controllers>
Dont forget to safe

3. Check your autoconfig/android folder here:
/Users/$USER/Library/Application\ Support/Steam/steamapps/common/RetroArch/autoconfig/android
There should be config named "SPEEDLINK COMPETITION PRO Game Controller for Android .cfg"
Copy that to
/Users/$USER/Library/Application\ Support/Steam/steamapps/common/RetroArch/autoconfig/hid
and rename it with the name you noted down in step 1.
In my case i renamed it from "SPEEDLINK COMPETITION PRO Game Controller for Android .cfg" to "Game Controller for Android.cfg" to match the detected controller name.
Open the now renamed file and edit
input_device = "SPEEDLINK COMPETITION PRO Game Controller for Android "
to
input_device = "Game Controller for Android"

Not sure the last edit is really required but after i did that my controller worked.
Hope thats helpful for other users like me :)
