Report a translation problem
Edit: Checked out with other engines, seems to be something vulkan related. GL works fine.

if you need any more info on my system or my retroarch settings, feel free to ask! I am curious, is there a way for me to downgrade to the previous version to see if that does anything?
Edit: dug through the settings, found what you were talking about. mine was already running on GL. Switched it to Vulcan and that fixed the majority of the problem immediately!
Edit Edit: Still getting the little red icons in the corners, buuuuut the game loads and runs fine now, and the icons block like 5% of the screen. Screenshot linked below.

oh woooow okay thats actually really freaking cool! thank you so much, I look forward to using that feature on games that have more interactive VMU things. Greatly appreciate the timely response!
Still having issues, there was a recent update for my gpu but other games work ok in vulkan.
Here are specs if needed:
AMD Ryzen 5700x
Gigabyte X570S Aorus Master
Gigabyte 6750XT
G.Skill Ripjaw V 32Gb DDR4 3600
Windows 10
These issues are best reported on our Github repository -

A copy of your retroarch.cfg and telling us which video driver you are using in RetroArch would also help in such a bug report. Perhaps even the core options that you've set.
