MAME Cores?
Please excuse me if I'm missing something obvious! No MAME cores are showing in RetroArch and there doesn't seem to be a DLC for it?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Merry Christmas!

You are meant to download the core (ra's site) + info (github) files manually and place them on their respective folders. That's how the steam version works :cancyman:

Hmmm, so I've put 6 of the MAME cores (.dll) in the cores folder and the .info files in the info folder, when I go to load a MAME game it doesn't seem to give me the MAME core as an option?

Ok maybe one of these from the guides section may help you (there are more):

Honestly what I do is the easy way that is to just replace the whole ra folder from ra's site onto steam's. The cons is that with every update you need to replace it again cuz it reverts.

Make a playlist:
click 'Import Content', 'Manual Scan' and 'Content Directory'
Navigate to your 'roms' folder and click '<Scan This Directory>'

Set:
'System Name> Mame'
'Default Core> Arcade (Mame-Current)'

Click 'Start Scan'

They have all the cores on Steam DLC? Or are there more?

I had to download them all from the libretro site and paste the files into the folders inside the Steam Retroarch installation.

No, they only have a limited number of cores to get them as dlc.
But if you read my last message you have the "normal" and "easy" ways to get all the rest of cores not listed on the store page. I'm stil using the easy way.
