Which cores need BIOS files and where can I get them?
A few weeks back, I posted about the Sega Saturn emulator not reading discs and someone told me that I needed BIOS files.
Can someone tell me what I need to get the Saturn emulator working?

Yabause core doesn't need bios files, but has not-so-great compatibility. The rest of the Saturn cores ALL need bios files. More information on those can be found here:

You'll know what to look for with that.

Every core is different, which core are you trying to use?

Load a core click "Information" then "Core Information" and it will tell you what firmware files are required.

So what do I need to be able to play Sega Saturn discs from my computer's DVD drive?

To use "Sega Saturn (Beetle Saturn)" core, you need to put "mpr-17933.bin" in "RetroArch\system" folder first. To run a game from disk click "Load Core" select "Sega Saturn (Beetle Saturn)". Then click "Load Disk".

I have no idea, I always run the games with dumped .cue/bin or ISO.

With a bit of searching I found this post on reddit. Have a look.
