PS1 Memory Card
the core I'm using for Retroarch is Sony - PlayStation (PCSX ReARMed) and I'm playing Twisted Metal 4 and I'm trying to save a created car. do i have to bite the bullet and download the original Retroarch? I really dont want to.

You need a PS1 bios "RetroArch\system\scph5501.bin" for US games.

In the system folder:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RetroArch\system"

did that twisted metal 4 still didn't read a memory card i think it might be somthing with my emulater core

or try this: Save the game first so it will create a memory card file then save your car.
