Duckstation, help please

I decided to ask here because Steam forums is the most convenient for me to access to (I use Stewam daily) but I'm using the standalone version of Duckstation (I use Retroarch only for 16 bit and 8 bit consoles), I hope someone can help me anyway.
Basically analog sticks don't work in this emulator and I don't know why. I have pressed the button to turn analog mode on, I have the message on screen that says it is turned on, and they do not work.
Anybody knows what the problem might be and how to fix it?

Check the Input or controller settings and see if you are not on the Digital Pad mode. That's the default setting on Retroarch, so I assume it might be the same on the Duckstation Standalone.

I checked it and it says "Analog controller (Dualshock))" so I think this is not the problem

I know there are some games where the analog sticks don't work either way. At least I experienced some games that were like that. I just forced the D-pad to one of the analog sticks when it was needed.
