No Atari 5200 emulation?
In standalone RetroArch there are 2 Atari 5200 emulation cores: a5200 and Atari800. I don't see any of those in Steam store page as downloadalbe content.
Does that mean Atari 5200 emulation is not possible with Steam version?

No, it means it's not here yet. If you get it manually, you can use it on the Steam version.

That's what I actually meant, but I worded it poorly. I was wondering about out-of-box experience. Thanks for the answer though.

For the most part you can just copy over the .dll and associated LICENCE and SOURCE files and things will work just fine.

Yeah, I get it. I was wondering if there was an automatic option.
I don't think Steam version is for me in current stage, so I'm going back to standalone installation.

Oh wow, power of posting or just coincidence? Anyway thanks a lot to whoever is responsible for addition!
It seems some other cores are added since yesterday, I'm particulary happy for Handy.

And just in case someone from RetroArch is reading this - please add melonDS, I'm sure I'm not the only one who prefers it over DesmuME. :beatmeat:

A separate core specifically optimized for Atari 5200 will be added soon (although it is just a fork of the Atari 800 core).
