"Warning: no save data was found. (80110327)" for Steam Cloud saves on Steam Deck with PPSSPP
I recently got a Steam Deck and installed RetroArch with PPSSPP but when I launch Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection I get "Warning: no save data was found. (80110327)". I checked in the saves/ and states/ folder on my Steam Deck and everything appears to be the same as on my PC.

I also tried creating new data and that worked fine, but then my original saves still do not show up.

Any thoughts?

Make sure the game name and save names are the same, having something like a space in one can prevent it from loading.

- Steam cloud works really wierd sometimes. I recently was forced to upgrade my PC including finally moving to win10. When i re installed Dark Crusade on a new system i found out that the only thing that was in the cloud was name of my game profile. It saved nothing else. Not even config files. Good thing that i backedup everything i needed in advance. Take this as advice - dont trust steam cloud, it works very inconsistently.

add: does PPSP even works with steam cloud thou? I thought it wasnt...

It was recently added: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1118310/discussions/0/3270186863322010994/#c3418809548730027833

Also, both my Steam Deck and PC have the same saves/ and states/ folders and files synced. It just seems like the one I saved on my PC doesn't work on my Steam Deck or vice versa.

The Steam Deck synced the saves/ and states/ folders and files from the PC so everything should be the same. The only potential difference is that the last time I played on the PC I had installed PPSSPP manually but since then PPSSPP was added as a DLC.

On the Steam Deck I noticed that it says "PlayStation Portable (PSN)" for the Database while the PC just says "PlayStation Portable". I'm using the same ISO for both, though. I did try importing the ISO again on the PC and it now shows up with the same Database but I'm still able to access my original save when I run it. So, that doesn't seem to be the cause.
