Using Phone as Touchscreen for Desmume

I found a fairly easy way to do it, though it disables fast forward ingame for some reason.

Steps are:
(1) Install the Steam Link App in your phone (I did this with an iPhone)
(2) Launch Retroarch and your core + Rom (tested with Desmume and Soul Silver)
(3) Launch Steam Link on your phone and start streaming your PC to your phone
(4) In your Steam Link app on your phone, click the "..." button on the upper left, and disable touch controller (optional), enable pinch to resize/zoom (optional), and set the Mouse to "Direct Cursor" (required)
(5) In Retroarch hit F1 (default) to go to the menu, then go to "Main Menu" > "Quick Menu" > "Options" and change "Pointer Type" to touch

With that, you should be able to directly tap the bottom part of the DS screen on your phone and have it recognize that as a tap. For convenience, on your phone pinch to zoom in on the bottom part of the DS screen so it fills up your phone's screen better.


(IDK if this is helpful, but I was searching around for an easy way to get a touchscreen working, and I didn't find anything for PC + iPhone)
