Dolphin Freezing

I've been trying to play Mario kart double dash but it keeps freezing. I changed the Vulkan drive, went to advanced settings to make sure the driver doesn't change and put hardware shared context to on. Doing those three things got me to play halfway through but it froze again on the third course. Is there any other settings I need to mess with? change where my files are? etc?

I played Double Dash right now on OpenGL driver and only changed Resolution to 3x and enabled Widescreen hack. Game works perfectly fine. Try to set everything to Default and switch between diferent drivers if GL doesn't work for you.

which one is the open gl driver? i tried each video driver with gl in the name but none work

gl, yes. Since it still doesn't work, you might want to consider using the Standalone emulator Dolphin.

Please just use the standalone for dolphin.
