PCSX2 core not showing

I've downloaded everything for pcsx2 (I think?) and it lets me load the pcsx2 core, but when I select the .iso it gives me a list of suggested cores, which are not pcsx2. What am I doing wrong?

Most likely, the .info file is missing. You need it so the core can work. You can find it on github, search for "pcsx2_libretro.info"

What I did was download the desktop version of RA and then took PCSX2's files from the core and info folder and put them in the steam version's. Worked just fine.

Really wish the ps2 core was as good as the stand alone though, missing lots of options. :\
