To do so, you must have your Pokémon Yellow save file ready AND the respective Pokémon Yellow ROM into the very same directory where the Pokémon Stadium is.
You'll replace your Pokémon Yellow file with the name of your Pokémon Stadium ROM file name, with the extra extension .gb (Example: if your Pokémon Stadium file is called "PokemonStadium.n64", your Pokémon Yellow ROM file must be "PokemonStadium.n64.gb").
Do the same procedure for your Pokémon Yellow save file, renaming the extension if necessary to .sav.
You'll end up with the following files (based on my example, file names may vary):
- PokemonStadium.n64 (Your N64 Pokémon Stadium ROM)
- PokemonStadium.n64.gb (Your GB/GBC Pokémon Yellow ROM)
- PokemonStadium.n64.sav (Your GB/GBC Pokémon Yellow save file)
This will enable almost all functions of the game, except GB Tower.
