save games/states

there not saving I have tried every possible method online, from the way you save your game to the way you close retroarch. If I save and reload it works but once my computer turns off or I switch steam account it just disappears. I have replayed the same good chunk of Pokemon gold 3 times now and losing my ♥♥♥♥.

I have had cloud saves and I copy over over files from standalone. Once made the mistake of copying an old save and in a flash of a second cloud removed my most current save.

ahhh thats so toxic I have to switch fairly often to play games, thanks for the reply not really sure what I could do surely this is a more common problem that should be ironed out by now?

Cheers for the help anyway :) might try it on my other account and see if that fixes it as I have launched it on my other one cause I was being lazy lmao.
