Why PCSX2 run bios but not games?
I make everything from there https://docs.libretro.com/library/pcsx2/ and then touch "Run core" It can play all bios, even Japan, but then try run game it says - "Cannot load content". Info says "missing" bios and dvd, but it's in system folder and pcsx2 folder, ppsspp work fine.

It works. Try d12 instead of vulcan.

For PCSX2, you need not only the bios files, but also the firmware files for the PS2's hardware.

No, there's nothing else. You have the bios files, but not the other files for emulating the DVD player which is needed to load the games.

You pretty much said it yourself; you can run the core which means you have the bios files, but you can't load games due to missing content which the core info has identified as the other files for the DVD hardware.

So, either you don't have all the files, you have them in the wrong place (RetroArch/system/pcsx2/bios), or you have bad files.

I think those files should be placed in RetroArch/system too.

All the bios and firmware files for the PCSX2 core go in the same place: RetroArch/system/pcsx2/bios

I mean all the bios and other firmware files dumped from the PS2 console go into the pcsx2/bios folder.

Are you sure you correctly read the OP?

It clearly states that 1) the core will run, but 2) no content will load, and 3) the core information states that some of the required files are missing. #1 tells us that he has a working PS2 system bios, which taken together with #2 and #3 means that the required files missing are those needed to emulate the DVD (which facilitates loading the content).

If he weren't missing any required files and content still wouldn't load, then, sure, I'd try change the graphic rendering option too, but in this case, it's not going to do anything until the missing files issue is fixed.

Thank you. I load erom.bin and rom1.bin in bios folder and some other files, and now it say - we have bios and dvd, but games still say - Failure load content. I have iso of game and it run in pcsx2 emulator, but still not retroarch. I try change video drivers, it doesn't help, vulcano destroy retroarch, make it run in invisible.

Is the .iso compressed (.zip, .7z, .rar, etc)? If so, try decompressing it; RA should be able to load from compressed files, but in my experience sometimes it won't.

If the .iso isn't compressed or otherwise still won't load, would you please take a screenshot of your Steam/steamapps/common/RetroArch/system/pcsx2/bios folder as well as a screenshot of your PCSX2 Core Information?

Yes, .iso decompressed and it's standalone version, steam I try too and delete. Here http://pastenow.ru/c333d007621e7e12a81c42ebc10a97c0 There white "I have"

Okay, let's try one bios set at a time:

Make a /temp folder in the pcsx2/bios folder. Move everything into that /temp folder except for the following: EROM.bin, ROM1.bin, ROM2.bin, and the three scph39001.* files.

Then load up the core and a game. If it won't load, move the scph39001.* files into the /temp folder, choose another bios fileset (except the scph100*.* files) and move those into the bios folder. When you hit the 70004 set, temporarily move EROM.bin, and both ROM?.bin files into /temp as well (move them back once/if you rule out the 70004 set). Rinse, repeat, until either you hit a bios set that will load the content or you run out of filesets.

Doesn't work. I like bios ps2, it was good time with starting bios. Thanks for detail help, but I'm tired, I will use pcsx2 without retroarch. Thank you for your time.
