RetroArch

Is it possible to make custom playlists with custom icons in RetroArch? [Edit: Resolved]
I was trying to make a RetroArch build themed after the Super Famicom, with my top 50 Super Famicom games.

I was able to bypass the database problems for roms of needing them to be named a certain way like "Seiken Densetsu 3 (Japan)" or something such as that, by using the desktop menu. Renaming them to their Japanese title, 聖剣伝説3, and then re-adding the thumbnails manually. Or just renaming the thumbnails in the thumbnail folder to their Japanese text title.

I've have some other fun customizing the ozone UI I've been using, by doing things like swapping the RetroArch logo with the Super Famicom logo, by renaming the retroarch logo to retroarch.bak from retroarch.png.

One thing I haven't been able to do, though, is replace the Playlist label from "Nintendo -Super Nintendo Entertainment System" to スーパーファミコン or even SUPER FAMICOM. They still retain the rocket icon, instead of the nice SFC icons that RetroArch menu UI uses.

I've tried going into asset folders, and taking the same png files used for them, in ozone > png > icons, where they should be. Copying "Nintendo - Super Nintendo Entertainment System.png" and "Nintendo - Super Nintendo Entertainment System-content.png", and adding them again into the folder, but with the title of my playlist. i.e. "スーパーファミコン.png" and "スーパーファミコン-content.png". But it doesn't change anything.

It stays a rocket. So there must be something more to it than that. Like some kind of database file used to register what can be used for icons, and what isn't a real console name?

In the readme file for ozone, it says
To generate icons, go to `src/xmb/monochrome` and run `export_ozone.sh`. You will need inkscape and imagemagick.
But I'm not sure if this is the solution to custom playlist icons, or something else. Or even how to do such a thing.

Is there any way to make custom playlist icons in such a way?

Edit: I was totally wrong! This actually does work! For some reason it took several reboots. But eventually making copies of the png files and giving them the new playlist title did indeed allow me to use those same icons for a Playlist entitled Super Famicom!

After about three reboots of RetroArch with the new titles and several different attempts and naming and importing the files, they've shown up!

This topic can be closed, now! Sorry for making this topic prematurely! If anyone else is curious, I suppose this topic could serve as an explanation for how to do it?
