It's a shame, though, as I'd love a Cemu fork for the Libretro API. Still, the fact that we have a decent Wii U emulator at all is a blessing.
This is true it is a blessing. However I do hope one day we can have it on RetroArch. Thanks
Cemu, the most powerful, is closed source, so that is an automatic no.
Decaf, which is open source, is still quite low in compatibility and speed.
That sounds like a start at least. Hopefully they will be good later on to be included into Retroarch.
So I'm sure it's the same sort of thing with the Wii U, in that you'll need a hacked Wii U to rip your own games.
libretro is a distinct API designed to be an abstraction layer over the underlying OS and hardware.
