Long-time Jammer here.

Core game feels great to play locally,

Online feels TERRIBLE with the amount of input lag. Even matches with full ping have many frames of delay. I wouldn't even ship with this feature if this is how it performs; not at all competitive.

Your game has no ultrawide support either, which is okay but I would like to see some cool arcade borders on the sides at least. Currently the game has a bug with ultrawides where overlay graphics (such as steam messages or nvidia shadowplay) become a melty mess of graphics so you might want to test it out on one of these monitors.

Would really like to play against friends in this demo so I can at least test latency with known distances.

no it does not. Forced 16:9 with black borders.
