Mild annoyance - Quest completion

I know for the most part a lot of quests become inaccessible after the 5 year gap, but how come getting ingredients for Yona become uncompletable a good while before she gets taken by the Shadowlord? To make it sting just a little bit more, that was the one questline that I haven't done (I think, 97 percent complete is pretty close), and the game gave me no warning I wouldn't be able to do it. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaAAA.

Well I missed the quest you need to start gardening, so it's an entire long-term content lockout.

Damn i hate when games does that suddenly, there should be some immersive warning like charracter saying before mission that has no turn back that "I HAVE A FEELING I NEED TO FINISH ALL TASKS BEFORE ILL START THIS ONE"?

SO what was that quest that makes you jump 5 years forward ? I want to know what i should not do before i finish all tasks.

SImply do not go in the mansion in the southern plains.
Once you have 50% side quest completed, then there's nothing left to do and you can move on.

I reached 50% at the end of Route A Part 1 and 100% at the end of Route A Part 2. totally doable.

Thing is with the missable quest in part 2, missing it is pretty subtle in an immersive enough way to justify missing it.

Were there a warning, it would foreshadow too much and spoil the quest that causes it to be missed.

Actually im waiting for remaster of Nier Automata with improved graphics, FULL VOICE OVER for every character and removal of freaking prerendered cutscenes and replacment of them with real time cutscenes that could scale to your future hardware. Replicant does not have such issues and i hope that possibility to release Automata for Xbox XS and PS5 may give chance to not just port, but remaster Automata on pair with Replicant, and fix mistakes of original release (biggest of which is usage of pre-rendered cutscenes in freaking 1600x900 resolution... damn devs who use prerendered cutscenes deserves a place in hell where they will see everything forever in 320x240 resolution with ugly compression artefacts) and improve graphics and gameplay expirience. Game really needs 4k texture, high poly models, high render distance, better shadows and ambient occlusions of full display resolution, some better lighting effects, more vivid and natural colors... facial animations of characters that talks (replicant still does not have that, its really a big mistake) and optional ray tracing ... for the glory of mankind! XD It looked very date even when it was just released, it looks almost like game from xbox 360 and PS3 and worse than replicant, so it really needs a remaster (especially because of pre-rendered cutscenes that needs to be gone! damn platinum, why they alway do this kind of crap in their games? they get outdated so fast because of prerendered cutscenes!)

My issue is im not sure exactly where this becomes not available, Im going in as fresh as I can.

Just as soon as Yonah gets a letter in the mail, finish up all of the quests.

i just tested it - you can still complete quests after MANSION... but you must do it before you will get back to YONAH or POPOLA. So - finishing Mansion is last point of no return when you still can finish other quests. But once you return to YONAH or POPOLA after finishing Mansion - you cant finish quests anymore. So go to mansion safely, after it get all side quests done, then go to Yonah and Popola.

Is there a quest that shows up after the mansion that isn't there right before it?
