CPU Overload GPU Not *Melting Temps ... solution for me at least hope it may help others

FIXED## After playing about with my fan controls for a long time an multiple Forced shutdowns because killer temperatures on the GPU system fail safe i think i found a very peculiar solution

Usually i have my fans running on turbo mode an found out when i put it into office mode which is meant to make the fan silent so while gaming the cooling system should be less efficient instead it drastically reduced the GPU temp from 83'C+ to a nice 50'C it should be the opposite way round xD

..no longer crashes an the frames dropped to what they was set to..its weird i don't know much about game optimisation but if that's bugged out to individuals machines then i guess the community need a little help that have these issue.

hope this may be a solution for others :)

its just a fan setting on my laptop in the control center. i have office mode game mode and turbo mode profiles.. so what ever software you may have on your computer it could be something similar..

if you havent got a fan control center check what fans you have in your machine an see if theirs software you can download for them to tweak with....i added 3 corsair intake fans tothe front on my main PC..because i had a Asus motherboard i had to download AI Suite 3 which gave me control of fans. hope its of help to you ..fingers crossed for you

what melting temp means to you ? 83 C ? thats normal for a gpu

So, the game crashs, when your entire PC is "under fire"? Seems more like: Your cooling solution is ♥♥♥♥. Sure, the game is a hardwarekiller, what means, it is using the ressources badly or inefficient, but when your Game Crash or u have others problems because of the temps.... it is not the game, dude. Your cooling system of your system is bad.

A PC-System has to endure this!

what about the new AMD CPU thats reaching 95C as constant temp and thats normal.

something else is causing your force shutdown, and isnt the gpu . Do you have BSOD ?

Are you sure the 'office mode' isn't down clocking your system (like the power settings on laptops) and that is why your temps drop in this mode?
Also have to cleaned the laptop fans/ vents as they can get clogged with dust and crap over time.

an what would you know xD at least i have a solution to this issue for myself my laptop is pretty good this game is not a hardware killer. i play far more demanding games an have no issues..if your so clever an think you know what your talking about why are you even here im trying to help people.

My RTX 2070 is at 75-80% load, full clock rate with a temperatur between 75 and 80 degree while playing this game. How the hell do you get 50 degree while playing this game...or any game?

well i put 83C + which means more than, the last time before it froze my laptop it was 89C an i had to force shutdown by holding the power button.. no BSOD

i dont use a AMD CPU so i have no info about that. i have Intel I7 12700H an a Nvidia 3060Rtx

Clean as a Whistle ,only had it 7 months an clean often

what ever temperature it reaches is enough for it to freeze lock an for me to force a shutdown via power button seen it hit 89C.. like i said i played with the fan control settings an it reduced an have not had an issue since.

interesting i got an RTX 2070S in my PC i might boot that up later an see how it handles it an see if i can tweak things if it has issues like this poor little laptop...

Also i play Icarus which runs temps around 70C-80C which was poorly optimised
i dont get 50C with all games ,,an 50 was the lowest i see the temps drop after messing about with stuff its not constant, i wish :P,, ive just been playing an its around 60C

Because your solution isn't a real solution. You solve the problem with your "Office Profile". Your problem is your cooling, not to change a setting., that the PC/Laptop don't use all of the ressources. That is because I said, what I said.

its a Real solution to my problem that i see others reporting which mine was pretty much the same... Well you think what you got to think, have you got a solution you could share? changing my settings to tweak things worked. i dont understand that you cannot understand that.

OP, Glad you found a solution to your problem. Don't worry about the trolls they are just looking to increase their post count on a platform that doesn't count posts... I think they are from reddit.
