So... Just installed and already crashed somewhere between 5-7 times.
I'm at Yukiko casle, so, not even an hour into the game.
Any way to solve the constant crashing?

When I first started the game out, it would never crash. I played my first run and there was little to no crashing. Then, on the second run on new game+, after the Mitsuo Boss fight and the following
cutscene, it just kept crashing. I fixed it by simply disabling my gpu in task manager, and it worked (btw my gpu is an RX 6700 XT). Then, I saved and ended the game, enabled my gpu again and then played

Frequent crashes on windows 10 and after Mitsuo boss fight.
I tried playing it on my fedora linux install (kernel 6.14.x) and had success.
I don't know of it's because of
Proton, but I didn't have any crashes and I could proceed After the Junes cutscene/dialog.

then yes, this is very likely causing your game to crash. I'd recommend installing an earlier version of the Russian patch to see if that helps. From what I've heard from friends, the
latest Russian patch causes late-game crashes, though none of them experienced issues at the very beginning
