Rise is Annoying

Worst Persona party member, period. I would rather hang out with Morgana, Teddie and Spinoff Akihiko all at the same time than listen to her nails-on-chalkboard voice. Laura Bailey is so talented, but she managed to make the most grating voice possible for the navigator of the party, the voice you hear most often. Quite unfortunate, I wish I could turn on the Japanese voice just for her. I understand why anime nerds love her so much because she's the only time a girl will ever act like she wants to be around them. She is so desperate for Narukami, she acts like a HuniePop character. I wish she and Saki swapped roles. That'd honestly be great.

Agreed. Honestly, she would've been better off if she'd continued as the Rise you first meet at the shop, and only starts expressing her pop-idol self near the end of the game (or at least the end of the Social Link and during the King's Game).

Rise is fine and could have been much worse considering she is an idol. I was expecting a lot of cheesy, overly energetic dialog from her like you would find with your typical stereotypical idols.

I can understand you on the voice as yeah sometimes Laura Bailey goes way too high with her voices and not just with Rise but others characters that Maka from Soul Eater and Welch in star ocean 4. It can get to ear bleed levels, I honestly prefer her Lust voice to her young girl voice. I'm honestly glad they changed to Melissa Fahn for Welch.

In Japanese, her voice does often grate at the ears. I had a few times where some of her voice lines made my ears ring. They really should have modulated her voice and capped out the frequency to soften it a bit.

Lol true!
Though majority of fans will disagree with you since this behavior made her the numba 1 waifu, so I guess being annoying does bring the fans.
