wow nice, hopefully Atlus will introduce FeMC for P4 or Episode Marie for P4, or even better waifu war alignment just like Vengeance, and last please add palace since P4 dungeon is too repetitive and boring

This version is cheap, very accessible, has lots of options, and the parts that "didn't age well" aged perfectly and are twice as funny.



Atlus is still pretending like P1 and P2 don't exist, if anything needs a remake its these two since they're not even fun to play.

It seems like a possible re-make of this game is nothing more than wild rumours based mostly on Atlus registering domain names. Nothing official seems to have been announced yet so I wouldn't suggest that you go around claiming that the remake is real unless you have a proper source. A quick search brings up a bunch of articles and videos about this but every one of them that I looked at indicates this is only a rumour, they're speculating that it's going to happen but no one seems to have any official word or concrete proof that it's happening.

Lots of cash grab remakes going on in the industry lately so maybe they're jumping on that bandwagon, or maybe they actually want to improve the game and give fans something even better than the original and the PC port.

I'm a new player to this series, P4 is my first Persona game and I'm about halfway through the game. My two cents - I would prefer if they just fix the minor issues this game has, add a few QoL options for PC players like the mouse controlling the camera instead of the Q and E keys, and add a few more save options so you don't lose progress if you encounter a crash. They simply don't need to re-make the game, looks good enough, it's fun as is, and voice acting is mostly solid.

Everyone here is forgetting one tiny detail.

P5Re is also a domain.

So clearly, Atlus are just trademarking everything just in case. Doesn't mean 4 is "next", just that its an inevitability (easy to make, easy money. Doesn't matter how "uneeded" it is, it will do well).

(Only thing P4 would really benefit from, is adding in the cut content for the Yosuke social link that was removed last minute. Makes sense for his story, and was clearly what the original game was written around before getting cut. To the point where some find Yosuke to be offensive in the current game, which was always meant to be explained as projection. But that context isn't included)

P4g is already better than p5r by being more snappy, even the last chapter with the awful character insert remained memorable from the mechanics.

The game needs nothing, albeit I can see them adding cleaner graphics and some combat tweaks, not enough to warrant a second copy. The last thing it needs is anything like the awful aegis expansion.

If you don't feel like a new one, I have good news! Golden isn't going anywhere, the same way P3P is still available here on Steam even though P3R is out.

For me, the PS2-era graphics are kind of on the borderline of what I can deal with in 3D graphics. I absolutely wouldn't mind a graphical overhaul, maybe some extra content, etc. Plus we'd definitely be getting some new songs, which is always a bonus.

What i would give for Persona 4 with Female MC or at least being able to romance Yosuke or Kanji but it's Atlus so that's never going to happen
