SOS! I need help!
Meaning, when you change any of the game settings while in-game, only your current save will be affected.
Likewise, if you change any of the game options from the title screen, this will only affect a New Game if you start one right after changing them and they will only be in effect for that particular playthrough. (After re-launching the game the settings at the title screen will have reverted back to their default values.)
Video, Sound and Control settings affect every save though.
So basically, make sure to turn the network functions off *after* loading your current save.
